On top of a remote hill at the edge of the Puget Sound is the Olalla Guest Lodge, Olalla Recovery Centers' inpatient location, surrounded by nesting eagles, visiting deer and nature up close. Faced with a competitive marketplace, the recovery center’s legacy branding needed an update to stand out. Since recognition of the current brand among industry influencers was significant, a gentle logo evolution was implemented. Brand collateral that included website and literature was created to amplify the updated brand, using a strong color palette that evokes nature, the wooded setting and adjacent Native American cultures of the area. Throughout brand messaging, emphasis is placed on a holistic approach to drug and alcohol treatment that includes yoga, meditation, nutrition lectures and presentations by psychologists, as well as Native American cultural and spiritual-based recovery choices.
