Superior Register is on a mission to help everyone get control of their personal spending and avoid overdraft fees. The widespread use of debit cards and online shopping makes it easy to loose track of bank balances. The solution is simple--JUST WRITE IT DOWN. Superior Register had been selling its registers online and had been achieving consistent and positive growth. They decided the next logical step was to take their product to retail. After our initial intake session and discovery that includes our propietory brand and positioning distiller it was decided that renaming the product was appropriate to the over-all positioning goals. The brand logo - Just Write It Down - was created to serve as a decriptive logo that emphatically urges people to track their spending. Knowing that the product would end up in office supply stores as well as other stores as an impulse item, we wanted the brand call to action to pop, so we created the green, color of money logo, in a bold circle, with a pen. It's really a call to action, diguised as a logo. With a clear understanding of the target consumers and positioning, we redesigned the product line, creating an everyday collection with simple geometric patterns on a stylish collection of colors. A novelty collection was also created as a buying option. An in-store displayer concept was developed along with a sell sheet targeting buyers looking for new products to sell in stores.
