Orca Design Group
Our Work…is Your Work
We tell stories with purpose, about issues and work that matters, with the power and intention to mobilize, strengthen and empower communities and organizations to sustain movements – and galvanize people into positive action. Through collaboration we connect people and organizations with those who want to find your work and discover their alignment with your mission – to ultimately support you on your journey.
Our Values…are in Our Work
We are people committed to working with others who aspire to improve a community’s health and well-being or strive for advancements in justice, education, cultural sovereignty, or environmental protection.
We intentionally seek to partner with Indigenous, BIPOC and grassroots groups working towards restorative change and just transitions to achieve social, racial, economic, and environmental justice for communities excluded by traditional practices and systems.
Our commitment is grounded in the belief that powerful and consistent communications have the power to build capacity within movements that sustain initiatives focused on achieving social, economic, and political equity. It’s our mission to share our insights to facilitate understanding on a large scale.

Jill Neumeister (Pawnee)
As founder and principal communication strategist of Orca Design Group, Jill Neumeister, a member of the Pawnee Nation, is honored to work with clients prepared to do their next big thing: new organizational launches, rebranding & website redesigns, targeted engagement campaigns, robust advocacy programs, new product or service lines, or ramping up an established enterprise.
“My wish every day is to lift up the creativity, skills and experience of my team to deliver powerful, creative, and targeted communications solutions to my clients and their audiences.”
Jill and her team’s branding, communications, creative and technological skill sets are vast. Together they’ve developed campaigns and assets for local, national, and international organizations in strategic communications, content strategy, marketing, and advanced brand executions.
Jill is a citizen of the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma. She grew up in a large extended family on the traditional homelands of the Puyallup Indian Tribe of Western Washington. After her first career in corporate retail design, she founded Orca Design Group, a marketing communications firm, in 1993. Ten years later, her husband, Vaughn, joined her. She and Vaughn reside in Gig Harbor, Washington, with their pups, Rocci and Khaleesi. When she’s not working, she advances causes close to her heart, pursues artful endeavors, hangs out with family, and travels the backroads on her motorcycle.
